Updates Regarding COVID-19

The health and safety of our residents and employees is our top priority.  We continue to monitor the latest updates regarding COVID-19 and are adjusting our business practices in an effort to honor the shelter in place order and limit person-to-person contact.

OFFICE

Our staff remains fully accessible to our residents and prospective tenants by e-mail, phone, or via your resident portal.

Many of our employees are working remotely, however, to ensure continuity in operations, some essential employees are in the office and practicing social distancing. Our office, however, is closed to visitors at this time.

MAINTENANCE

Maintaining safe, secure, and clean properties and apartments for our residents is an essential service. Our in-house maintenance staff is focused on increased cleaning of common areas and high-touch surfaces.

We are only completing essential or emergency work orders in occupied apartments until further notice. Examples include: no hot water, non-working toilets, leaks, broken locks, gas leaks, or appliance repairs.
If maintenance is required in your unit, we kindly ask you maintain distance from our technicians by remaining in a separate room for the duration of their visit.

LEASING

Our leasing agents are available to help you find an apartment. We are conducting limited in-person apartment tours for vacant units only. Any in-person showings will follow social distancing protocols. Video tours of occupied units may be available. Please contact our leasing specialists for further details.

RESIDENTS

We must continue to work together to keep each other safe. We ask that you do your part in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of yourself and your neighbors by following the stay-at-home order and protocols recommended by the CDC, CDPH, and IDPH.

We continue to rely on the guidance and recommendations from the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the National Centers for Disease Control to inform our decisions and plans. As we all continue to look for answers, we encourage you to look to local, state and federal authorities as your source for information. RENTAL ASSISTANCE

With the stay-at-home order in effect and so many of our residents sheltering in their homes, we understand that some of our tenants may be experiencing financial hardship. We are committed to working with each tenant on an individual basis to create solutions that best fit your specific situation. If you are experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please contact Theresa at theresa@icmproperties.com. Please include your name, address, unit number, and any documentation related to your loss of income which may include notice from your employer of termination, furlough, or reduced hours; or confirmation you have applied for unemployment benefits.
